POLLINATION SERVICES

Pollination is the process of transferring pollen found in flower stamens, fertilizing them and enabling the production of fruit and seeds. In this context, our company deploys beehives or nucleus colonies in orchards, greenhouses, seedbeds, or fruit groves in appropriate quantities, so that bees visit the flowers to achieve optimal pollination.

HIVE PRODUCTS

Honey
Honey is produced by bees from its raw material: flower nectar. We take the production of our honey very seriously, with special care for the bees during their harvesting work, to achieve a product of optimal quality.

Beeswax
Beeswax is a substance secreted by the abdominal glands of bees, which worker bees mold with their mandibles to build honeycombs. To produce beeswax, bees must consume large amounts of honey (an average of 9 kg of honey per kilogram of wax). Natural beeswax is a recyclable product that is reused in the form of honeycombs. It is also used in woodworking, cabinetry, handicrafts, cosmetics, and candle making.

Propolis
Propolis is a resinous substance that bees produce from the resin and sap of various trees. These resins mix with bee secretions to form a mass rich in plant resins, balsams, waxes, essential oils, and pollen. It contains active components such as flavonoids, vitamins, minerals, and more. Bees use propolis to seal off access to their community against potential intruders and invaders. They also use it for hive repair, and it serves an antiseptic and antifungal function with great capacity to destroy viruses, bacteria, and fungi. In simpler words, it is the bees’ pharmacy.

NUCLEUS COLONY SALES

Basically, nucleus colonies are brood chambers with three, four, or five movable frames. The concept allows a small colony of bees to inhabit a reduced space where they can easily thermoregulate the internal hive temperature. Once the nucleus reaches a sufficient bee population, it is transferred to a full brood chamber where expansion begins until covering all ten frames. A nucleus colony typically includes a current-year queen bee, brood frames, and a strong cluster of worker bees ready to establish the new hive.
